About 1423 Leaders
Our Mission at Vertical is to compel the world around us to passionately follow Jesus.
In the book of Luke, Jesus shares a parable about a great feast. The banquet master tells his servants to go and invite others to the banquet. After many people decline the invitation, the master tells his servants to bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame to the banquet. The servants reply that they had done so but there was still more room at the table. The master commands his servants "‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full." (Luke 14:23)
1423 Leaders are people who have accepted the calling to take the name of Jesus to the world and fulfill Luke 14:23 and the Great Commission to "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19).
They have committed to be both humble before God and hungry to advance the kingdom. Vertical Church is proud to support their ministries.
